I'VE TAKEN PHOTOS OF HUNDREDS UPON HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE OVER THE YEARS...

and if I’ve learned anything, it’s that being in front of a camera can make us feel vulnerable. Not always, but often. And it’s totally normal. 

 

It’s an experience that people want to do with someone they trust and someone they feel safe with. Someone who understands and makes the process easier and lighter. Someone who can see our essence and bring it out. 

​

A PHOTOGRAPH CAN REFLECT BACK TO US OUR LIGHT THROUGH THE WAY ANOTHER SEES US, BEYOND OUR SELF-CRITICISMS.

And when someone really sees us, there’s truly nothing but beauty to be reflected.

These moments of self-recognition are of immeasurable value—for they have the ability to shift the way we perceive ourselves and the way we relate to the world.
